I have traveled the world, visited exotic locations, been a sports diver, and had successful careers in both the military and commercial aviation.

When one day, an emergency room doctor told me I had both a brain aneurism and a dissected artery. Surgery was the only option, and my chances of survival were less than 25 percent. I learned through these setbacks how to endure, how to heal, and how to “find forward.” My aim is to inspire others with my unbreakable optimism. Although I will never be the same, I have regained my life by finding a way to move forward.
